Education Committee
Chair Jeanne Knopf DeRoche, The Knopf Company
To foster and positively influence, through the interactive
and creative use of community-wide resources and expertise to personal,
social, academic, and career development of all members of the Plymouth
Community. The Committee providing the leadership and coordination through
which educators, business persons and community individuals and
organizations can come together in a permanent climate of opportunity
extending into the 21st century.
Governmental Affairs Committee
Chair Cindy Ash, GLA Surveyors and Engineers, Inc.
To monitor and take appropriate action on legislation and
governmental policy affecting business, and to facilitate the
dissemination of information within the local community; to provide
leadership on critical issues and recommend these positions to the Board;
to work with local, state and national governments to improve cooperation
and understanding.
Industrial Advisory Committee
Julie Bernard, Ilmor
To develop a partnership between the
Plymouth Business Community and Local Government to address the common
interests and concerns. The Committee will bring vital issues from the
business community to the attention of the Chamber and bring forward
programs of common interest to the business community.
Retail Committee
Chair Sandy Marulis, Michigan Made & More
To promote and protect
the interests of retail, and to develop, publicize, and evaluate programs
which serve as a catalyst between the retail areas of the Plymouth
Community.
Small Business Committee
Chair Maria Barone, Barone

Chair Pat Kingsbury, Community Financial
To promote and protect the interests of small business;
to develop, publicize, and evaluate programs which benefit the small
business community. Produces mini-business expo - "Showcase
Plymouth."
Ann Arbor Road Committee

The Ann Arbor Road Team brings city and township
planning commissions together to coordinate issues and work toward
improving Ann Arbor Road.
Internet/Technology Committee
Chair Bill Pratt, Management & Tax Services,
Inc.
To make our web page more effective for out members, giving
them more exposure.
Leadership Plymouth Steering Committee

Leadership Plymouth is
designed to serve the community by developing and enhancing leadership
skills for current and potential leaders both collectively and
individually and to increase their awareness of the issues and
opportunities in the Plymouth Community.
Membership Committee

To plan and assist with membership and membership
development programs and develop ways to increase attendance at chamber
functions.
Economic Development Council To develop, promote, and
protect the commercial, industrial and economic interests of the Plymouth
Community; to function as a clearinghouse of local economic development
programs and services, and to facilitate the dissemination of information
within the local community.
Community Development Committee To promote, enhance and
help develop civic and community programs and events; to stimulate
awareness of these programs, and to advance the general welfare of the
community.

entire business community to make the Chamber's two major fundraisers a
continued success and a source of pride.
Hall of Fame Committee

act as a catalyst to recognize, on an annual basis, noteworthy individuals
that have made a substantial service commitment to the Plymouth
Community.
Youth Leadership

opportunity for youth to understand their community, to develop leadership
skills and to encourage involvement in community services.
